We as lecturers actually did not get much sleep during the whole event, but so where our AstroMaster “Students”. During the day Babak Tafreshi and me were busy scheduling lessons and lectures on all aspects of Earth & Sky photography (landscape astrophotography) and timelapse imaging and processing.

Later in the afternoon each day we then set off to one of the many beautiful locations of La Palma. 4 scheduled night imaging sessions until to the morning, a visit to the observatory on the top of the island’s giant caldera, and site seeing tours kept the spirits high.

All in all, the AM 2013 participants got a good overall overview on current, practicable and affordable solutions for premium quality timelapse production not limited to one camera brand, as well as post processing using latest Software. The Island of La Palma and it’s beautiful Nature and Nightsky provided the best location for this wonderful event. AstroMaster 2014! We come!
